Do you use a piercing gun?If your child is old enough to understand the piercing procedure and can consent to a hollow needle piercing I am happy to do that. However, for infants and children not old enough to sit completely still, I use a hand pressured piercing device. Most stud guns you find at the mall or Claire's DO NOT contain sterile loaded earrings and cannot be safely disinfected between clients. The device I use is single use and each set of earrings is completely sterile for your safety. For all other piercings such as cartilage, inner ear and noses I use sterile hollow needles and pierce using a cannula technique.
